Inburgering exams course
Overview
If you migrate to the Netherlands from outside of the EU, you would most likely be subjected to the Inburgeringsexamen (Civic Integration Exams) to get a Dutch resident permit or apply for Dutch citizenship.
Here is some information about the structure of the Inburgeringsexamen.
The exam is designed to ensure migrants to the Netherlands have a basic understanding of the Dutch language and culture. There are five sections with questions concerning Dutch laws and customs:
- Knowledge of Dutch society
- Speaking competence
- Listening competence
- Reading competence
- Writing competence
There are two levels of these exams
- A2: for newcomers
- A1: for those who have stayed for a longer duration
Course Aim
Clear the Exam on First Attempt. That is the clear aim of this course. You would be able to read, write, speak and understand Dutch Language and culture so much that the Netherlands will facilitate you to go for a Citizenship.
Self Study load
It is an exam that decides your future in the Netherlands, so 1 to 2 hours of self-study is recommended every day. The course has a 35 hours/sessions duration and would take at least three months of study to clear.
Language of instruction
Primarily Dutch. English & Hindi instructions wherever necessary.
